At Class ACT School for the Performing Arts, we believe in the power of creativity and self expression. Our mission is to inspire and educate children through theatre and performance classes. We create a positive environment where young performers can explore their talents, build confidence, and practice working and supporting each other as a team.

Mark Twain's the Prince and the Pauper

The Prince and the Pauper is an adaptation of Mark Twain’s classic novel about a poor boy and a kind young prince. Prince Edward saves young Tom Canty from being beaten by palace guards and invites him to the palace. As they learn about each other’s lives and discuss their uncanny resemblance, the two boys decide to temporarily trade places. Their swapped lives lead to both adventure and social commentary.

This royalty-free play by Peter Misopoulos is part of a fantastic collection of plays for kids and teens on Drama Notebook.

The Princess and the Princess

The Princess and the Princess is about Popplepea, a poor, polite princess, and Twinkleberry, a rich, rude princess. They meet on a narrow mountain path and neither will step aside to let the other one pass. Royal Guards, the Queen, Ladies in Waiting, a General and his soldiers all try to help but become stuck on the mountain with the two princesses. After a riddle provided by the Royal Wise Person proves that both princesses are “real,” how will the dilemma be resolved?

The Royal Race

Kings, Queens, and Knights of the Realm are ready for the biggest competition of the year–the Royal Race! Who will be the most majestic in all the kingdoms?


The class instructor will work with each student to help them create a unique royal character. Students will be a part of a narrated performance (complete with costumes and makeup!) on the last day of class. Each day, students will play fun theatre games that help to develop their acting skills and ability to work with others.

She believes in herself and overcomes challenges by using her intelligence and just a touch of magic. Join Matilda as she proves that courage and determination can move mountains. “Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr.” is an inspiring celebration of resilience, friendship, and standing up for what’s right.

NOTE: Students must attend the pre-audition group workshop and an individual audition in addition to the two weeks of rehearsals and shows. You will be sent the links to sign up for the audition and workshop after registering.

NOTE: “Grade level” refers to the grade the student will enter in September 2026.
