Class ACT Health and Safety Guidelines
Spring Classes 2022
These guidelines are subject to change based on any updates in state and CDC guidelines. Links to current CDC Guidelines:
Masking and Vaccinations: For Spring quarter, the Class ACT program will be requiring that all students be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Wearing a mask will not be required for students or staff during class or performances. Audience members will be required to wear masks at performances. If a masking mandate is reinstated for indoor spaces by Washington State or Skagit County, the Class ACT program will follow these rules and guidelines.
If your student is unvaccinated and would like to attend a virtual class or a masked class, please contact classact@acttheatre.com. If we have enough student requests, we will create these classes and make them available.
Missing Class due to Illness or Quarantine: If a student is not attending public school due to illness or quarantine, they will also need to miss Class ACT classes as well. If a student has any of the following symptoms, they should not attend class: Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
Identification and Isolation: If a student presents a fever or reports feeling ill during class, that student will immediately isolate with a Class ACT staff member in front of the building, or in the theatre vestibule until they can be picked up. The student may not return to class until they are symptom free for at least 24 hours.
Cleaning and Safety Procedures: Before class, teachers will disinfect all surfaces and class materials.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Willow McLaughlin, our Class ACT Coordinator at classact@acttheatre.com.,
