Submissions!!!

Anacortes Community Theatre’s playwriting group Page 2 Stage is accepting submissions for its Fall 2026 10-minute play festival. This is open to all Washington State writers.

Submission deadline between April 2, 2026 and 11:59pm PDT on April 30, 2026, or the first 50 scripts received.

The theme is FALL, so anything that fits, please send. It can be about the season of fall, or a falling in or out of love, falling from a plane, or whatever strikes your fancy, but you must include a brief statement as to how your play reflects the theme.

No cost to submit and winners will receive a $25 honorarium. A total of seven plays, two from local playwrights, will be selected. Winners will be notified by June 15, 2026. Two performances will take place Oct. 24 & 25, 2026. We are limiting submissions to the first 50 scripts received.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Residents of Washington State may submit
• Only one unproduced original script may be submitted
• Cast size up to 4 characters, adults only, no children
• No monologues
• No musicals
• Must be in PDF formal, standard submission format (ie, Times Roman 12 point)
• Blind script submission. Send script with only title on it. TITLE OF PLAY. 2026
• Attach script to email. Email should include:
  • Author name
  • Contact phone and address
  • In email subject line put “TITLE OF PLAY. 2062”
  • List if comedy or drama
  • Author bio of 50 words or less
  • Brief statement as to how play relates to theme of FALL
