What will “1940’s Live Radio Presents: A Christmas Carol” look like?

Imagine that a 1940’s Radio station is creating a live production of “A Christmas Carol” for its listeners.  The audience will feel that they are a part of the studio audience, watching the actors perform in front oh the microphones.  Actors will be dressed in 1940’s outfits, and the set will be decorated for the holidays.

Actors will be filmed separately, unless they are from the same household.  The final product will be edited together, so that the actors appear to be on stage at the same time.

It does involve some physical/facial acting, but actors will be holding scripts and the focus will be on voice acting.  Each actor will do a number of different roles/voices.  It will be a small cast of 3 – 5 voice actors.

There will also be a few Christmas songs in between scenes in the production, so a few singers will be cast.

The production will be directed by Willow McLaughlin and all rehearsals will be done over Zoom.

Rehearsals will take place during the month of October.  Actors must be available to film November 1st – 8th.
