In the jungle, it’s time to pick the King of the Wild. But what happens, when each wild animal votes for themselves? In this class designed for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students, each actor will create a unique personality for a wild animal character to help tell this story. Students will then be a part of a narrated performance complete with costumes. This play will be performed on the last day of class.   Each day of class, students will also have the chance to play fun theatre games that will help develop their acting skills and their ability to work with others.

There are so many fun and interesting aspects to theatre and drama that a regular acting class just doesn’t have time to cover! In this workshop class, students will explore a wide variety of fascinating skills including: character transformation, stage combat, special effects makeup, accents, audition prep, improvisation and more! This action-packed class is great for beginners and veterans alike! As the focus of this class is not performance based, there will not be a live performance. However, a video compilation of class footage and skills demonstrations will be created and sent to parents to show what the students have learned.  Students may sign up for one or both of the workshops for their age group.

These skits will be performed for friends and family after the final class at 5:30 pm on May 19th. Students may sign up for one or both of the workshops for their age group.
