Over the years, Anacortes Community Theatre has produced many “live” radio productions, including the most recent production of A Christmas Carol.  In these productions actors take on the style and costume of 1940’s actors in a radio studio, performing classic radio shows for a live studio audience, as well as an audience at home.  Big characters, vocal acting choices and Foley sound effects are the focus of this fun- filled production.  Students will perform episodes of classic radio like, “Flash Gordon”, “Zorro”, “The Shadow”, “Superman”, “The Lone Ranger” and more.

9th – 12th grade students will meet from 9:30 am – 12 pm.

6th- 8th grade students will meet from 1 pm – 3:30 pm.

All 6th – 12th grade radio episodes will perform together on ACT’s main stage on Friday August 6th and Saturday August 7th at 7:00 pm.  However, we are prepared to film it and stream it for audiences at home if COVID restrictions require us to do so.

All classes will take place in the ACT Main Building.

918 M Avenue, Anacortes, WA 98221
