Show Description
While everyone else on the stage…Sees Sylvia as a dog…
The audience sees a funny, fiery, woman.
Think a young Cyndi Lauper or Madonna, and lots of Carol Burnett for good measure!!
Like the person who will be playing 3 very funny roles… this is an opportunity for a perfomer to give a tour de force performance.
And the entire company of just four actors will explore the exquisite comedy we most associate with Carol Burnett’s company of players.
Sylvia is a 1995 off-Broadway play by A.R. Gurney about a middle-aged Manahttan couple whose marriage is tested when the husband brings home a stray dog played by a female actress.
