Frequently Asked Questions

How Can I Check My Show Dates?

When you purchase a ticket, you will receive an email receipt.  This receipt has the dates and seat assignment of the show you’ll be attending.  If you no longer have your receipt, please let us know and we will resend it to you.

Do I Need To Print My Tickets At Home?

Tickets do not need to be printed.  When you purchase a ticket, you will receive an email receipt.  On this receipt you will see a blue “Print Tickets” button.  Clicking this will show you a PDF version of your ticket with your show dates and seat assignments. You may show this digital ticket on your mobile device at the door.

If you would like printed tickets, you may print your digital tickets for your own convenience.  However, we are happy to print your tickets at the box office upon arrival.  Or, they can be held at Will Call in advance.

Do you offer a Student discount?

For every performance, students will have the option to purchase Student Rush Tickets for the discounted price of $5.00. Student Rush Tickets are cash only and can be purchased day of, at the box office, up to 2 hours prior to each performance. If there is a Waitlist for the performance, the student will need to be added to the list but will still receive the discounted price.

Standby or Waitlist Tickets

When there is a high demand for tickets, we will offer a standby option prior to each performance. Standby tickets are at the regular price of $25.00. It is encouraged to arrive at the theater 30-45 minutes before showtime to put your name on the standby list. In order to receive a standby seat, you must be present in the building when your name is called. Standby Tickets are issued on a first come, first serve basis. We highly encourage patrons that want to attend a performance but don’t yet have a ticket to join the standby list, most of the time patrons are issued seats!

I cannot attend a show for which I have tickets. What are my options?

If you find you cannot attend a show for any reason, we will happily exchange your ticket when possible. Tickets can only be exchanged for another performance within the run of that play. All exchanges are subject to ticket availability.

If you cannot make another performance, you can choose to release your tickets. This is a great why to support the community and allow other patrons to purchase tickets for a full show. Exchanging or releasing your tickets at least 24 hours in advance gives ACT a better chance of filling the empty seats. To exchange or release your tickets, please contact our box office.

Can I Get A Refund For My Tickets?

Tickets are non-refundable. However, if you cannot attend the performance due to contagious illness we will issue the cost of your ticket back to you in the form of a Gift Certificate. Gift Certificates never expire and can be used on anything at ACT, including tuition or tickets. If you know ahead of time that you cannot attend your scheduled performance, you may always exchange your tickets for a future performance.

My show has been canceled. What happens now?

If you are a ticket holder for a canceled performance, you will be notified by email and provided with options. You may always exchange your tickets for a future performance date. At times, we may be able to add an additional performance of the canceled show on another day.

Although tickets are non-refundable, if a show is canceled by ACT for any reason we will offer ticket holders a full refund to the original method of payment. Although we make every effort to avoid it, ACT occasionally has no other option but to cancel a show. This is typically due to illness and is canceled in an effort to keep our community safe. This is always a difficult decision to make that affects many facets of our theatre. Instead of a refund, please consider supporting ACT in the following ways:

  • Exchange your tickets for another show.

  • Receive your refund back as a Gift Certificate (which never expire!)

  • Donate the cost of your ticket. We are happy to issue a tax receipt upon request.

  • Consider making a donation of any amount. As a thank you, your name will be added to the show programs for the remainder of our season.

If you still have questions about tickets, please contact our Box Office.
